The GWDG Academy course program for the first half of 2026 has now been published. It once again includes several new courses. All courses are held either online or in presence. You can find more detailed information in the respective course descriptions.

The AVefi project, in which the GWDG is involved with four other partners and which aims to automatically collate metadata from film collections held by various institutions, has entered its second funding phase. After successfully establishing the conceptual and technical basis for this during the initial two-year period, the development of a web-based network system for the effective search and comparison of film data is now being seamlessly continued under “AVefi plus” in the three-year second project phase, which is funded by the DFG.
